KALPA ART LIVING IN PALAZZO BONOMINI, NEW ART GALLERY IN VOLTERRA

While in Tuscany this Summer visit our new gallery Kalpa Art Living in the Palazzo Bonomini in the historical centre of the Etruscan town of Volterra, one of the most picturesque locations in Italy. This new location has been opened in June and it will remain open to visitors every day 10 am – 7 pm until the end of October 2019. The unexpected raw sophistication is what characterises the aesthetic outcome of our work on the interiors. The partial restoration, saving all the historical layers with their imperfect traces of time made the space into a work of art itself…

“ARGILE ORGANIQUE” ART DIALOGUE SUMMER 2019

RENOVATION OF PALAZZO BONOMINI, VOLTERRA

In 2019 Kalpa Art Living will launch its new location in the historical centre of the ancient Etruscan town of Volterra, one of the most picturesque locations in Tuscany. The new venue is located in Palazzo Bonomini on Via Porta all’Arco, a charming street connecting the main square with the famous Porta all’Arco, an Etruscan gate to the city dating back to 4th century B.C. This sophisticated, mysterious building of palazzo Bonomini dates back to medieval and renaissance times and over the ages it has been the home to several religious and charitable institutions. Today it is a project “in progress” giving space to various arts in its time-hallowed rooms.
